To say I don't know what I'm doing half the time is an UNDERSTATEMENT!! ESPECIALLY when it comes to technology! I am attempting to blog my SECOND blog in, oh say two MONTHS, and still don't have a clue as to what I'm doing! HA HA!! Guess we will be figuring this out together!
Let me give you all a quick update as to what has been happening since late Sept. I had these two WONDERFUL women, Jena and Renae, come into my life who gave my Boudoir business the swift kick in the a#* that it needed to get started! It all began with an idea of a style I wanted to shoot and a brave and BEAUTIFUL young woman named Jena. I asked Jena to model boudoir for me and I fell in love! Well, not with HER but with BOUDOIR! :-)! I couldn't believe how taking pics of this GORGEOUS model made ME feel like a million bucks and then to see her reaction to the pictures truly made it a DONE DEAL! She is a seasoned model and with one sentence, she planted the seed of my business....she simply said, "I've been in front of the camera hundreds of times but never have I felt so comfortable, so at ease, than I was with you"!! I began wondering what I could do for EVERY woman out there, give them the chance to feel beautiful and stunning and confident with just pictures! Sooooo, I posted some images of Jena on Facebook (EVERYONE'S favorite medium) and they caught the eye of Renae.
Renae works for a local radio station in Cedar Falls, Iowa called 93.5 The Mix (GREAT station btw...if you ever drive up next to me on the road and see me COMPLETELY cheesing it out, singing at the top of my lungs, oh yeah...you can bet your butt I'm listening to The Mix!!) and is in charge of finding new businesses and advertising. At first (sorry, Renae) I thought she was just after a commission or something but she really boosted my belief in my business. She saw ONE IMAGE and that was that....my business began. She has been there beside me giving me all the encouragement and networking that I can handle! HA HA! Half the time, I do have to admit, I am overwhelmed with how quickly things are happening for me but I have such a HUGE support system in place that I know that I cannot fail!
So, with that being said, I want to make these blogging moments more and more frequent and let you all in on who I am, who these beautiful women are who grace my pages and hopefully make some new friends along the way! I will be posting SOOOO many more images on my blog than ANYwhere else so PLEASE frequent my blog regularly. I am also posting a written warning:

I plan on sharing myself with you all too. Not only will this blog contain images of my Vixen Girls but they will be of my business, my life and of course my QUIRKINESS!! I'm a dork. I goofball. A nerd. You'll all find that out! I'm a mom, a business woman, a lover and a friend. I hope you ALL see that too. Skip over the "dork diaries" of my life if you choose and focus in on the photography or scroll over the photography and laugh with (ok, I know it, you'll be laughing AT me) me on my crazy journey through this thing we call life!

P.S. Also want to give a shout out to my family and friends (Mom, Dad, Damion, Chloe and Chesney, Karyn, Krystal, Taran, Kassie, Emily and ALL you lovely people) who helped me get to where I am today! I wouldn't be where I am without you guys! There are MANY more but even getting THIS much posted on a blog is OVERWHELMING to me at the moment! HA HA!! Now to figure out how to add an image...damn technology anyway! Grrrrr!
