What do you get when you have a GORGEOUS property, an AMAZING Harley Davidson and a gorgeous young woman who is about to commit to the man of her dreams?  You get a dream shoot! 

Marriage make us all do crazy things!  Things we never thought we'd do!  Scratch backs until someone falls asleep, watch TV programs that would normally make us go insane if we were watching it alone, maybe take some dance lessons or maybe, just maybe, take us out of our comfort level and make us want to take some gorgeous, sexy as hell pictures!  This is what lead this gorgeous woman to me! 

Meet Colby.  A brand new mother.  A new fiancé.  A very hard worker.  A woman who can stand up for what she believes in and never, NEVER makes excuses.  For such a young and beautiful lady, she is confident in her ways and someone I am very proud to call family.  She is my niece (well not technically my niece until her Uncle actually proposes to me.....!!) and I love having her in my life!  This girl is so full of spunk and energy and ok, sass and I wish I could be half as confident, spunky and no-nonsense as Colby!  She is simply AMAZING!

What amazes me most about this woman is that she shows me daily that every woman, no matter how confident they seem, has her insecurities.  Her doubts.  Her fears.  She wants to feel desired.  Loved.  Adored.  CHERISHED.  And yes, sexy! I've always thought nothing could shake this girl.  She has an amazing body, a wonderful personality, a family that adores her and a man who loves every inch of her....even the bitchy parts!  As we got ready to do this shoot, for the first time, I saw doubt and fear in her eyes.  I saw that she, even in her 20s, had the same fears and doubts that I have about myself now!  Am I sexy?  Am I beautiful?  Can I pull this off?  And in that moment I knew, I knew she would absolutely be one of the most gorgeous women I have ever photographed! 

I hope throughout this shoot you will see the vulnerability and honesty and LOVE in her eyes....not to mention the sexiness and bitchiness as well!  She had a clear idea as to what her shoot should look like and I hope I did it justice!  She shows her playful side, her bitchy side, her vulnerable side and her pure sex kitten side!  She shows her love, her desire and her trust in herself that we can all find if we just trust our instincts and our hearts and go for what we believe in and what we want.  

I love this woman and everything she stands for.  I wish her a lifetime of love and happiness and most of all confidence. You can do ANYTHING you set your mind to.  I hope you continue to look back at these images and see all the hope for your future, all the love you have for Josh and for yourself in this moment and most of all I hope you see the beautiful, gorgeous woman you are turning into.  I love ya, girl!

This blog entry is something very personal to me.  I want to share with all of you the story of my little brother, Ryan.  My brother and I have had an up-and-down relationship when we were in school. I loved him but didn't agree with some of his actions.  Ryan loved me but he hated going to school and hearing, "Why can't you be more like you sister?".  We were up and down and things weren't really the best between us until I left for college.  Even then, I still felt at times that my brother was wasting his life around our home town....fast forward a couple of years.....

 

 

I was stunned the day I got the call that my baby brother was uprooting everything and up and moving to Arizona!  I couldn't believe that he was moving out of mom and dad's house let alone moving across the country!  And basically, all by himself !! I was scared for him and yet excited!  So life went on....Ryan got a job and a place to live.  I couldn't believe how grown up he had become!  Anyway, there was a phone call I recall one night telling us about a girl he had just met.  After his LAST heartbreak back home, I didn't know if this was going be a good thing, or a very very bad idea.

 

This "girl" has turned out to be his soul mate.  There are NO two people out there better suited for each other!  They finish each others sentences, laugh at each others jokes and can have hours of fun guessing movie quotes with each other!  They are just simply meant to be.  Perfect.  Honest.  Once-in-a-Lifetime Love.  I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this woman.  She has brought my brother such joy and elation.  My brother lights up when he is with her and she has made him feel his purpose in life.  This beautiful woman loves my brother for who he is and sees what we as his family all see in him.  She is simply amazing, simply stunning.

 

So, meet Josie.  My gorgeous sister-in-law.  She made my brother the happiest in his life when she agreed to marry him and then again the day she told him she was going to have his baby.  I was so honored to take their wedding pictures and then to be asked to take their maternity pictures.  I was blown away when they asked me to also take some maternity BOUDOIR pictures!  It's something I've ALWAYS wanted to do and do be able to do it for them.... wow!  I just hope I captured her beautiful soul in every image and documented the love that my brother has for his simply stunning bride.....

 

Hope you all enjoy these!  And to Ryan and Josie....I love you more than words can say.  I am so touched that you let me be a part of each and every important moment in your lives and I CANNOT wait to meet my niece or nephew in August! And Ryan, I am so honored and proud to call you my brother and my dear, dear friend. All my love, ALWAYS!!!

Power of a Man's Shirt...

 

 

 

There is just something about a woman in her man's shirt....wow!  I often-times will tell my girls to bring whatever makes them feel sexy and I am not surprised by then number of women who bring their man's shirts along.  This little vixen was NO exception!

 

Meet the beautiful "A".  She had told me that she had thought about doing a shoot like this and had seen some of my images but just wasn't sure if it was for her or not.  A couple months later she heard my add on 93.5 The Mix radio station and went home to look at my website with her husband.  I literally laughed out loud when she said the very first image came up and her husband started chanting, "Schedule it, schedule it, schedule it!"  And that, my dear readers, is all it took!

 

The beautiful "A" brought in some amazing pieces to wear for her shoot!  She had KILLER curves and I knew she was going to be a dream to photograph!  Looking through her items I was not surprised to see her man's shirt in with all the other amazingly sexy choices.  I loved the soft lavender against her blonde hair and I knew we'd have a killer shoot pairing her man's shirt with a sexy bra and panty set. 

 

After "A" got pampered by my wonderful hairstylist and makeup artist, we put on a CD her husband made for her and her boudoir shoot.  The only thing missing from our session starter were mimosas!!  Next time, "A"!!!  After her pampering session, I asked her to immediately begin in her man's shirt.  I loved seeing her transform!  She came out nervous and a little timid but after just a couple snaps of my camera shutter she was settling in with her own beauty!  And I knew her tiny little frame in her man's large shirt helped give her the confidence to feel femine and gorgeous on top of it all!

 

We had a wonderful time!  I think we spend most of the time laughing our butts off than taking pictures but we got some stunning images!  We had her hair flying and let me just tell you....she ROCKED the fishnet stockings...up against the wall....in lace....!!!  I think her man is going to be pleased!

 

I just basically begged her (oh yeah, I begged!!) to allow me to share some of her images with you all.  I am so very proud and pleased with how these all turned out and I was granted permission to share a couple with you all!!  So, if you can see through the fogged up computer screen...um, yesssss they are THAT hot....enjoy these!  And if you're really in the mood to, go slip into your man's shirt.  Greet him.  In. Lucky Session Winner!

 

Meet the gorgeous winner of one of my sessions!  THIS, my dear and loyal readers, is Kelsey.  WOW!  STUNNING is an understatement, I know!  This woman smiles and her ENTIRE face just glows!

I met this woman about 5 months ago while at a gathering for the loyal listeners of the radio station The Mix 92.3.  It was a red carpet event with local professionals offering various services and to support local businesses.  I was lucky enough to be asked to participate in this event and provide a session as one of the grand prize packages.  Wine was imbibed, diamonds were bought, massages were given and tickets were handed out.  MANY amazing vendors participated and everyone walked away with something.  It was a FABULOUS evening!

At the end of the night, tickets were drawn for larger prizes.  I heard many women giggling and overjoyed with gifts that they had won.  I am SO not above evesdropping (hee hee) and overheard some women talking about the Boudoir Package and how amazing it would be win it!  There were brides-to-be there, middle aged women and some newlyweds there as well that came up to me and mentioned that they were really hoping they would win the session...I was blown away with the compliments!

The moment came. The tickets were all out.  I could tell the women who really wanted this prize and who was not-so-secretly PRAYING that they wouldn't win it!  After the numbers were called out, I heard this little gasp and some gorgeous, bubbly, HAPPY woman bounce to the front of the room and claimed her prize!  I knew she was going to be ahhh-mazing in front of my camera!

The day of the shoot arrived and Kelsey was nervous but very excited.  She told me in my questionnaire that her and her husband like to play chess together and it immediately gave me an idea.  I wanted to play on that private ritual in her shoot and make her husband look at chess in a completely different way!!!!  I don't think the game of chess has EVER been sexier!

Let me just tell you one more thing about this beauty before I share some of her images, I mentioned her smile before but I have to say again that this woman has the most GORGEOUS smile I have ever seen!  The second she laughed for the first time, REALLY LAUGHED, I saw the real Kelsey.  She is playful, full of life, honest, beautiful, down-to-earth and real.  She is someone that embodies what real women are.  She was an absolute dream to photograph and I am so happy I met this woman.  She is truly a lucky woman, in every sense of the word. 

I wish I could share her ENTIRE session with you all (yes, they were ALL that good!!!) but I have permission to share you these few.  I think you can see just how wonderful she is, even in just these few pictures!  I loved working with you, Kelsey and I hope we can meet up again in the future...try your hand at another giveaway I'll be participating in maybe....HA HA!!
